The Safe-1 Safety Syringe has the dose markings on the plunger rather than the barrel provides easy viewing of the dose markings while in the shield. No need to recap needle for transport .
The safety shield is available through Biodex, and the 3ml syringe fits in a standard pig.

Nuclear medical devices The Safe-1 Safety Syringe is an easy-to use syringe. Simply aspirate fluids like a standard syringe. Infuse the medication into the patient. Press the button on the side of the syringe and the needle automatically retracts.
Any needle can be used and exchanged up to a 1.5" long.
The syringe adapts to IV connectors, needleless valves, etc.
