Our safety scalpel provides stability, security and control during use. With the safety button extended forward the blade is exposed and locked in the USE position. With it retracted, the scalpel can be safety PASSED. It can be reused during the same procedure as needed.

With the button retracted fully, a positive click is heard and the blade is now locked in the DISPOSE position and can't be re-accessed.
