About the company

The IAEP is the fastest growing union in the United States. It was established in 1992 to specialize in dealing with the job-related problems encountered by employees in the Emergency Medical Services Field. The IAEP has members in 17 states and is currently organizing in 11 other states. IAEP represents over 7000 emergency workers nationally.  The goals of the IAEP include the professionalizing of emergency medical services and to increase the safety of all emergency workers. According to Mat Levy, National Director of IAEP, "Sharps injuries are harmful to employees in the medical field as well as costly to everyone involved. It is our stance that the numbers of sharp injuries can be reduced through education and being given the proper equipment.  We would like to see sharps injuries drastically reduced and eventually eliminated completely."
