Police and correctional officers face the dangers everyday- needles, knives, and other sharp objects hidden in pockets, car seats, and jail cells just waiting to inflict serious injury or infection. In addition, they face contact with bodily fluids containing potentially lethal diseases such as hepatitis or AIDS. Safety gloves exist that will protect our finest from cut and puncture wounds.
