Non-Invasive Blood Volume Monitoring
Hemodialysis patients suffer from End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).  Hemodialysis patients receive dialysis treatments 3 times per week.  During these treatments, fluid and toxins are removed from the intra-vascular over a 3 to 4 hour treatment period and it is very important to remove as much fluid as possible without the patient becoming symptomatic.  One way to achieve efficient fluid removal is through the use of non-invasive blood volume monitoring.
