ULTRASITE is the first high-flow, one piece capless valve with the positive displacement design. The patented ULTRASITE valve is a swabbable, capless, 2-way valve for injection/ gravity/ pump flow or aspiration of fluids. The ULTRASITE valve is a completely closed system. ULTRASITE's premier technology includes a positive displacement design. Safesite® Needle-free IV System
The Safesite IV system was introduced in 1989 and is the first truly needle-free IV system on the market. With use in over 800 facilities throughout the United States, the SAFSITE valve as provided a standard for proven needlestick injury protection for all healthcare workers. The SAFSITE Needle-free system is two-way reflux valve that allows for the injection, gravity/pump flow, an aspiration or infusion of fluids or medications, including blood, blood products, lipids or TPN. SAFSITE is compatible with any standard Luer fitting and existing, standard IV equipment. SAFSITE offers a comprehensive product line for all IV applications. The SAFSITE reflux valve is a completely closed system, activated by attaching any standard Luer connection, such as a syringe or IV tubing. MaxPlus™
The MaxPlus is a patented needle-free product specifically designed to address catheter complications caused by blood draw back (retrograde blood flow). The MaxPlus is a positive displacement device that automatically performs a positive pressure flush upon syringe removal, locking the lumen against retrograde blood flow, thus helping to assure catheter patency. The MaxPlus is compatible with blood, lipids, and chemotheraputic agents. It can be used on peripheral, central, and arterial lines thus providing a one connector solution. The MaxPlus has a one piece internal design and contains no metalic components that may affect (MRI) procedures.
