Urine Monovette® Urine Collection/Transport Tube

Remove the cap from the Urine Monovette® cone and attach the suction tip. Insert the suction tip into the collection container and draw urine into the tube until the piston reaches the base line. Hold the Urine Monovette® in a vertical position with the suction tip pointing upwards and pull the plunger down until the suction tip is empty. Remove the suction tip, break off the plunger and replace the cone cap.

The Urine Monovette® is designed for hygienic urine collection, transport and analysis. The device has a suction tip for drawing urine from collection containers, or it may be used for collection directly from urine drainage systems with needleless sampling ports. After collection, the Urine Monovette’s plunger is removed, converting the device to a primary transport tube. Test strips can be immersed in the tube, which can also be centrifuged for isolation of sediment.
