Electrosurgical scalpels:
An electrosurgical scalpel uses high voltage to slice through muscle and tissue. It cauterizes as it cuts, which reduces bleeding. The electrosurgical scalpel provides effortless and precise cutting by concentrating electrical energy on a very limited region in the patient tissue. The ESU scalpel, however, is not sharp like a regular scalpel and minimizes sharps injuries to clinical staff.
